j30 to 90 240sx

I ran across a 93 j30 and am swapping differentials, but had heard that I needed to get a shortet driveshaft for the 240sx because the abs sensor on the j30 was located in the differential, is this true and if so is there any way around getting another driveshaft. I had also heard that it will still work, but just a little tighter. Anyone know what if any problems could result from installing without replacing the driveshaftTHanks
