J30 Timing Belt!

I can't seem to find any information (ALLdata pro) ragarding Timing belt. It says "inspect only", however, there is no specific mileage mark to do so?It is not hard thing to do (skill B) I am an ASE master tech. Normally there is a sertain time and mileage to do such repair. Thanks!

1993 had a regular timing belt for 60k changes. 1994+ had a kevlar timing belt which was replace at 105K.

Here is a link to what you will have to replace on the engine as a whole during the belt replacement. Timing Belt Kit If you can, get the parts from the sponsors here..everythinginfiniti.com with the discount. One of these days I have to ask everythinginfiniti to clone that kit @courtesy parts link above. I recommend that kit once a week on average to a J30/300ZX N/A owner..

so can the kevlar belt be used in the 93 J30 or do we have to stick to the regular OEM?

Yes, and that is what you should use. I believe nissan OEM VG30DE belts are all kevlar at this point in time..
