i have a j30 and the transmition feels like it jumps when shift someone told me it could be the rev sensor im just triying to find out what to do its a very good car.......

We need a little more information.
The mileage of your J.
The condition of your transmission fluid ?? Nice and pink or Brown ?

Also it is normal for a hard shift between 1st and second gear until the Transmission is fully warmed up.

failed rev sensor will hold or prevent shifting. Like Yoda saied we need more info.
