ok i just bought a 93 j30 and i noticed whoever had it before had removed the rear speakers. im not sure how the bose speakers are all connected in the j3o but the person cut the connecters off. ok no big deal ill just rewire new speakers in. the other day i removed the stereo head unit to see whats goin on back there and oh my god someone really made a mess. the live wire and remote wire are taped together and taped to a line running to the battery fuse in the fuse box. and only one speaker is connected to the stereo but some how both speakers in the front are working and on seperate channels. whatever ill rewire all the speakers but my problem is with the battery and the remote wire. where can i find the right line to connect them too? i dont see a straight red or yellow wire at all.

That was confusing to read.
What do you mean by "where can i find the right line to connect them too?"
Do you mean, that you need to figure out which pin on the head unit requires constant power, and which one requires power when turn the key to ACC in the ignition?
Or do you mean you need to figure out which wires in the car itself are delivering the 12V constant power (battery) and which wire is the accessories wire (powers on when you turn the key)?

Sorry about the confusion. I meant to ask if anyone knows which wires in the harness is battery memmory and antenna.
I figured it out though. It was a mess. Wires were taped together the battery and memmory wire were taped together then ran to the battery fuse in the fuse box. The antenna line wasn't connected. And one front speaker was connected to the stereo as a front and the other front speaker was connected as a rear.
I fixed it all though. Used all the right connectors and found the right wires in the harness. Thank you for your reply

When you find stuff like that in a car you bought, it makes your head spin, huh?
Glad you sorted it out.
Usually, I find it's best to start from scratch in a situation that you just presented.
At least you know it's all done correctly now.
