Just curious if anyone has down any research if there are any springs in the Nissan family that will fit on the J. Even maybe with a little modification to them? Im tired of the wheel gap on my car. Finding the discontinued Intrax springs is hopeless and I dont know if im ready to go for custom springs yet.

coilspringspecialties.com .they can make you some.other members have done this.dont know if its a com or not.try a search on nico you should find we have covered virtaully every aspect of this mod..you dont hear me saying this but,(if only 1 or 1.5 drop i would have cut mine.but i had a master plan.and means to do things.if you want to go into why i run 1250.00 rear struts, well this is what i mean.personally, the bounce can be handled by koni yellow but on the back, your on your own.intrax were just real weak spring thats how they had to do it.because a strong spring, would fall to short and could not gaurantee it would jump the lower colar.mine are accually tied in so when the car is servised they would stay. put.im 40% over stock.on flat ground mine sits right at the top of the fender lip.on the tires.4 inches of clearance underneith the front.clears almost all speed bumps.think how high a 4" speed bump would look.with 4 inches under you you cant afford to bounce.what ever you decide, remember this(new or cut you will bounce alot.)without quality struts.that is.)hope this helps.

exactly diamond, but the intrax springs were actually progressively wound, so they would get really stiff at the top of the suspension stroke too.

there are sets of intrax still lying around, you just have to look hard.

usually cheap too, because everyone is trying to get rid of the one set they still have.

i am pretty sure these are the right ones, sometimes vendors get confused as "j30" is also the body code for some maximas. whereas "y32" is the body code for the J30.

in any case, i am pretty sure the 45 at the end of the part number indicates what we need.

post here if you contact any of the places, to let us all know if they still stock em.
