J30 shifting problems

i believe that the 1-2 shift on the J30 should occur right before redline when its at WOT. My J30 now shifts at no higher than 6500 rpms. is this something i should be concerned with? should i have it looked at?

mayhem, yours does the 1-2 shift at 6500 when you have it totally WOT? if so, im a lot less concerned. I somehow remember it shifting right before redline, but it been a while since ive had the pleasure of driving it.
