J30 security light stays on steady when armed

Hi:

My security light used to flash when the car was armed--now it just stays on steady.

Does this indicate there's a code in the security system that must be cleared? Or is there a problem with the timer on the light that makes it flash...

Correcting this:The light blinking usually means that the door, trunk or hood switches are reading that one is closed. Check visually that all are working properly then you will have to check each circuit at the control unit, the manual will detail the procedure. A steady light points to an incorrect reading to the control unit, you will still have to check the circuits.
