Yes - there are quite a few here. I probably see a couple a day besides mine. I wasn't too crazy about the look of the back end either, but with the spoiler, it looks pretty good. I've really bonded with mine since I got it back in February. By far, the G35 is the popular new vehicle on the road in my neck of the woods.ddrumman wrote:I see quite a few Js around here in SoCal. I've always liked that car except I'm not too crazy about its backside. Face on, and 3/4 real nice.

Likewise, there is no 1997 model for the G20.

The J was ahead of its time being RWD when the fashion of the era was for FWD. Compared to the ES300 (which isn't really a good comparison because the J is in another class but that was its direct competition at the time), the J is completely over engineered which is one reason why the struggling Nissan co. was forced to drop it from the line up. The less than stellar sales sealed the deal. The Max was then dressed up to take on the ES.

Another note of interest, according to the model life cyle chart, there are no 1997 J30 models.
