ok update been a while since i updated this everything works find ran into some some more problems but didn't take more than a few minutes to figure out. If your going to retain your stock axles there is a brass ring that need to be removed it is located on the end that plugs into the knuckle we did it with a brass hammer took like 5 seconds no problem if you go with a j30 axles later on for a diff you dont have to do this being you are using the knuckle it plugs into.

The other thing was i was retaining my stock 240 brakes in the rear and using s14 rotors there is a piece of the e-brake cable were it comes in through the back of the knuckle then through the hub, to run the smaller rotors you havr to remove this piece

there is another piece on the direct opposite side of this one also that need to be removed

but if you want to retain the drum style e-brake i'm pretty sure you can make it work just like the 300zx ones but i haven't done it

also on a side note the j30 traction links are the exact same as the nismo piece it's boxed in just like it

So I have to ask because this was kinda a confusing thread to read through. The mounting bolt for the shock is the only piece on the knuckle that had to be swapped (or replaced with a bolt like you did), then the 2 pieces removed for the E-Brake, and swap in some s14 5lug rotors?

yeah you got it, not that hard if you sit and look at it and the brass ring if your keeping your stock axles

another update not having any problems with the rear knuckles. The only this is my rear wheels are cambered out a little and i think this just has to do with needing an alignment and one of the wheel bearings is going out but that was do to a little flood we had and a little water got in the bearing no big deal. I've had several people asking how to do this

Hmm, this is funny. I just picked up a pair of these knuckles yesterday.
