Hi:

I wanna flush my 93 J30 but I DO NOT WANT to use the "DISCONNECTING COOLER LINE" method (it migh starve the plantary gears).

I remember Q45Tech said that dain and fill at 2mins intervals on RE4R03A on Q45 can achieve a very good result. I wonder if I can do the same thing for J30? If so, what will be the length of the interval? 1.5mins? 2mins? 2.5mins?

Never timed a 01A but 03A flows 14 quarts in 3.5 minims or 1 gallon per minute idling in park.

BUT that depends on the back pressure of the BG Machine.

The return line from cooler feeds the planetary directly then the sump so just pouring ATF in the filler port WILL STARVE THE PLANETARY................the 20 psi of ATF must be force feed into planetary via the return line ALWAYS.

Is the planatory even moving while transmission is in "park" while engine is idleing?

Q45tech...it will be very kind of you if you can time the flow rate of 01A for us. I believe a lot of 300zx N/A and J30 owners would like to know. Or, if there any way that we can time it ourselves?

Hard to get J30 people to pay [understand need] for a BG machine flush/ATF exchange compared to Q45 owners.

We try to avoid total ATF exchanges [BG Machine] since we charge $3,000+ for a Nissan remanned swap.

You cannot do too much preventative mainteance or your Gross will suffer and you will be out of business if too many people do too much.

This is a Repair Business not a mainteance business.

Impossible to make much profit on $129 because it takes 50 minutes [to connect and row the gears correctly] and uses $43 worth of ATF and chemicals.

Yesterday an out of state Q customer came in for his 6 year annual pan drop, new filter, BG Flush and refill with $86 worth of Mobil syn ATF.There was microscopic metal on magnet and inside cut open filter after < 18k in 12 months.

He understands replacing a $3,000 AT can be deferred by spending $200 per year IF you start when the unit is brand new!!!!!

I would waste my time with a manual fuild exchange, other than a pan drain and 3 quart refill when BG AT Machines are so available.
