am i mistaken to think that the t found after j30t stands for turbo?? ie did the car have a single turbo from factory?? and if so are the motor mounts betweent the non t and t different???

Yep you are mistaken T stands for Touring - some early models I believe 93-94 J30Ts came with HICAS. All J30Ts have stiffer suspension if I am not wrong, but no turbo..
