I want to change the bulbs inside the power window/door lock unit located within the armrest on the driver's door on my J30? How is this done? Do I need to take the arm rest off? If so how do I do that? Can I somehow pop the unit out and get to the bulbs underneath? Or do I have to pop the power mirror unit off (how is this done?) so I can pop the power window/ door lock unit. Any help is appreciated-Thanks!

I don't think you have to remove the armrest or the door panel. If I remember correctly, using a hook tool or some other suitable tool, pop out the control for the side mirrors.

After that is out, you should be able to reach in the hole (where the mirror control used to be a second ago) and pop up the wood trim with the window switches.

Disconnect the wire harness and replace your bulbs.
