j30 power seat connections?

i recently changed my seats out with some that have seat heaters on them. the problem is the connectors dont match up. the connector coming from the body has 2 wires and the new seats have 3.. Do i splice them and hook them up without the connectos .. and what color goes to what .. or should i just give it a try?dont want to blow any relays I figure the extra wire on the seat connector is for the heater... the passenger side is the same too.. i dont know about the color codes .. but i do know how to make a good electical connection using twist screws... thanks
