Hey everyone! This is my first time in here since I just got my J30 about 1 week ago. It's got about 93k on it and runs great! Love the RWD.
Does anyone know where I can find a replacement park lamp lens for my 95 J30. It's the "clear corner" part that is located right next to the headlamp. I have looked all over the net and found nothing. I checked with my local dealer and it runs about $70...Any info would be much appreciated. :help

Did you guys happen to notice that I am currently the top bidder on 3 of his items; the gold grille, and both park lamps. I hope it works out. The gold grille he's selling would look good with my car's "champaigne" color. The hard part is having to wait 7 days, but that's what comes with the Ebay game.
well, i found a place in FL called luxparts that will get me a hood, incl. shipping for 400. (ok price, but id like to see what else i can find)
i am going to get some small parts from this ebay seller, and then if that transaction runs smoothly, ill see if they have a hood from one of those 2 black j30s they have.

With these cars, you get into a whole different head space when it comes to their care. That is an aluminum hood. Precious.
They don't make these beauties anymore. Remember that.
one cant really find a single locked garage available in a ghetto college town.
communal semi-secured parking is no better, i have had that also.
nothing is really safe in an area where 70% of the population gets blown out of their minds at least 4 nights a week.
it makes it hard when all parking spaces are leased for 12 months also, as these binding contracts cannot be broken.
if I had any remote possibility of securing some safe locked parking, you should rest assured that I would have already have the car there.
i could store it out in the country, but there would be a much greater risk of it being lit on fire.
it has been very maddening and depressing to me, but my only option is to restore it in a few years when I have finished with my studies.
at least I wasnt one of the owners this weekend who had grills and kegs dropped on their hoods or winshields.
that in fact happens so often, it is unreal.
and disgusting.
