The 93 wiper blade comes with a shroud..this is not removable ? Anybody try this..Mine was broken in place (previous owner I assume) when I went to change blades. Is this a one piece wiper/shroud deal ? Gotta call Joe ?

Thanks in advance..

I think its a one piece blade cover deal. I see no other way of removing the blade iteself other than to unscrew the 2 screws in the back. There are alot of differences between the 93 J and the other years. The one piece blade cover is one, or the engraved driver and passanger seat that says infiniti with the logo is another, rear floor mat, taillights etc.

I guess I will be calling Joe too since my blades need to be replaced. I hope they dont cost too much.

I found a link. The price is not too bad.

How do you remove the blades? Do you have to unsrew the whole plastic piece or what?

Changing my wiper blades are easy. to take them out, I pinch a locking mechanism and they slide out and to put them in I do the reverse. All of 5 minutes work. I only buy the Nissan/Infiniti refills from my local dealer.

Your lucky since your blades are rather cheap compared to ours. Unfortunately it looks like the previous owner of my car never changed the blades and now I have nasty scratches on the windshield.

Gotta call Joe.

Then someone has been in your car before and took out the original wiper blade. Did you autozone blade screw in place with 2 screws on the wiper arm ? I was at a local dealership (winner infiniti) and they were clueless abouts this. So far, the only useful info is Dominick's link to everything infiniti's catalog which lists the blade for 1993- early 1994. I only need one blade with the shroud, passenger. I can use a refill for the driver which seems to be intact...

My refills cost about $14 plus taxes a blade at the Nissan/Infiniti dealer but they last for a long time. The blades all have a triple edge on them, to help efficiently evacuate rain, slush and ice and the odd bug splatter in the spring/summer.
