J30 older engine swap

swaped out 97 motor to 94 motor changed sensors have no place for the (2) back of engine cam sensors to plug into engine harness >car runs slow dont believe getting enough advance

The sensors you are talking about are VTC (variable timing control) solenoids. They only exist on 93 ~ 95 VG30DE engines.

You may have to swap the head in order to make the 94 VG30de work

they are upluged now ,seems like they realy are not hurtting any thing but i need to know what replaced them in 1997 if i switch heads the heads from the 97 dont look any different except for the sensors had to switch intake housing tps anything that had a different plug on it know having problems with tps everthing is pluged in and like i said there is no wiring harness for the sensors even if i changed it from the other car my computer would probably not plug in -----

Are you sure the 97 & does NOT have them as well?

ya does'nt have a place to plug into either everything else i switch worked fine. i replace tps today and it shifts perfect except for the first shift of day.the old one tested fine runs strong i wander if they have that thing that they plug into the test plug to adjust fuel/timing/ they have it for mustangs and other cars for high performance tuning still working on it wifes car.
