Well, I've had my J30 for about six months now. Thought I would write up some observations and make some comments about it.

This car is a late '93. Certainly older than I originally anticipated buying, however it only has 80,000kms (under 50,000 miles) on it and is in pristine condition. One previous owner.Love the styling and look of the car. Often get comments to the effect of "how do I like my new car". J30's and Q45's are as scarce as "hen's teeth" up here (and expensive) so it is nice not to have to look at a million of them on the road and in the parking lot (like BMW). Some simple luxury for an old fart.Plenty of power for me, however it could do with some more low end torque. Mechanically very sound so far. Haven't had any problems. Before I bought it I took it in for an inspection and the guy that checked it out said it was the best used car he had seen in a long, long time. Same with the transmission guy. Took that as a good sign.

Must say that I do hate the look of the wheels. Undersized and butt-ugly. I really like the Alessio Sport wheels, however new wheels and rubber would cost me $4,000.Bose stereo is just OK. Would like to replace with an Eclpise 8443 and new high performance speakers. Again would cost megabucks ... at least $3,000.Got a dash kit for it. Was disappointed with it (don't get a Woodview kit). Poor fit. Next time I will order one from Jason.Wish I could replace the steering wheel and shift knob with something more refined (at least in my mind). The burl walnut steering wheel and shift knob on the lexus comes to mind.Trunk and back seat could be more spacious.Centre console in the back seat should have some cupholders.

Overall, I would rate my level of satisfaction with this car at 85%. Generally, excellent value for the money. Want to get three years out of this vehicle. Next time I will buy new or a late model luxury car like I had originally intended.

Yeah, in '93 cup holders were a new thing in Japan, and were slow to be added. I wish my '94 Q had more accessible cup holders. By 2000, Infiniti had it all worked out.

Glad you are happy with the car. My best friend had a '93 Touring, with the rear steering, and it had different wheels. They were much better looking. I see touring wheels on eBay, all the time. Keep your eyes open, and you might pick up a set at a good price, even with shipping.
