J30 LSD ?wire?

I'm in the process of swapping my diff with a vlsd from a j30. Both 6 bolt. The j30's has wiring going into it, looks like a speed sensor maybe. Anyone know what this is and do I need it? My original doesn't have this.

Its for ABS. Just leave the sensor threaded in so oil doesn't leak out. You don't plug it to anything if you have a non-ABS car.
