This is kinda a n00b question; I know, but I am in fact a n00b so back off. How much should I pay for a 95 J30s LSD from a junkyard?

I've seen people pay anywhere from 150-300 for a J30 LSD

under $300...i got mine for $220

Yeah I think I paid $250 for mine from a 97 J30 with under 20,000 miles.

I'm sorry, I looked it up, I paid $200 and it had 26,000 miles on it.

I wouldn't pay over $250 for it. I found one the other day for $230 and I think I'm going to pick it up. Should you come across one at a junkyard, keep in mind that everything is negotiable..

If you do find an entire J30 diff housing with LSD, be sure to check the fluid. If the fluid is really nasty and smelly, you can use that to talk down the price. Good luck..
