Ok so I got a J30 diff out of a 97 and just a couple of days after getting it installed one of the bushings went out. Apparently it got dried out while sitting at the salvage yard. Anyways I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and what the best solution is? Infiniti was wanting $80+ per bushing... btw this is on a 92. Any vendors make polyurethane bushings?

I believe SPL sells some over priced solid bushings. Or you could swap the guts into a open diff.

Use the bushings from your original differential if they are OK, otherwise get new ones for a 240SX from a Nissan dealer.

ttthave you resolved this? I have the same problem. For now I use the stacked washer trick as the bushing. But I want to get some oem bushing or poly bushing

nissan told me they don't sell them. I haven't called infiniti yet

Yeah I just used the bolts/washers from the s14 diff and solid mounted it to the car. Haven't had any problems.

I used some poly bushings for a Z32 diff and a couple large washers and it worked fine. You have to remove that metal guide that holds the original J30 rubber bushing and then install the poly Z32 bushing.
