Keep in mind when replacing bulbs, replace them with bulbs of a similar voltage regardless of what brand they are, otherwise you'll be inviting electrical gremlins.

Indeed, caused me alot of headaches switching to hyper whites.

I even had to replace the head light socket because the high wattage bulbs burned the wires leading to the connector.

I've got the silverstars for my lows, havent bought the highs yet...and I may have to get the silverstars for the markers...my friend at work has some bright back-up lights he got for his neon, looks as bright when he backs up as my silverstars are up front. I'm going to have to ask him again where he bought them. And I figure they cant cause too much of an electrical issue since they've worked over a year in his neon with no problems. lol

That doesnt mean the wires in his neon arent burned yet.

true...but I think they're the correct wattage. I still havent talked to him to find out.

I was just making a joke towards his car, it's an ongoing thing between him and I from when I had my pos Cutlass.

I have a 1998 nissan maxima and I currently have some hyper whites rated at 8000k that burnt that melted the socket so my headlights wouldnt work. so i had to cut off my old electrical connector for the headlights an buy new ones. the connector just had 3 black cords while the cords originally are color cordinated. I conected the socket but my headlights still wont work, is there a diagram or a special way it needs to be connected. please help
