OK so my radiator had been losing fluid, so I just put a new one on it, flushed the system a couple times, then go drive around a little bit.

Car drives fine for about 10 minutes, then it just dies. I try and start it, and it keeps turning over, but never catches. I wait like 15 minutes, try again, and it starts right up. Somehow I make it back to the house and park it and just let it idle, and it dies in about 2 minutes.

I started it back up, and for some reason it was idling at 1700! (usually 700-800) The RPM's started dropping slowly until it leveled out where it typically idles, stayed there for about 30 seconds, then started dropping and it died, yet again.

I havent done tons of work on this car, and i have no friggin clue what going on. Thanks for your help!

Does the car overheat?

Did you re-use the old thermostat?

I have a feeling your problem is unrelated to the new rad. Have you pulled codes?

Nah, it wasn't overheating, was leaking a little.

I just pulled the codes this evening, and sure enough, they are the commons ones:

13 ECT Sensor
32 EGR Function
34 Knock Sensor

thank God those are the ones that always come up

That ECT code could be your problem.
