If the fuel filter has not been changed it would be a good idea to change it.Chris Halkides wrote:Thank you. Yes, I have to restart it. Until tonight, there were no symptoms at highway speeds, but I noticed tonight that there was some tendency to lose power even when cruising at 50-55 mph. I think that I replaced the fuel pump around 60,000 miles, so it might be time. Should the fuel filter also be replaced?
Are the hoses & boots broken or damaged? I just took my MAF sensor off to clean it & did not have any problem with the hose it is attached to (it's flexible).Chris Halkides wrote:My shop said it was the mass air flow sensor. When I went to my favorite parts supplier, they said the part number was 22680-31u05, which I found ($$$). But my shop also wanted a boot and two hoses that run to the throttle body. My parts supplier said that the boot was part 16577-10y10, but when I went to their website, I received a message that this part was not available. Unfortunately I left my shop manual with the car, so I cannot check it out as a reference. How can I get the correct part number?

The ones on eBay are mostly remanufactured. Does anyone have experience with Bosch mass air flow sensors?Chris Halkides wrote:Infinitipartsusa wants $460!J30inthe sun wrote:A search on eBay for 22680-31u05 showed several units for less than $30 shipped!
