Hi,

I have a few questions that I hope someone can help with. I was told by a shop that my fuel injector (#6) has a corroded wire. I have to assume they mean the connector b/c the injector itself has no wire right?

So my question can the connectors be replaced by splicing without taking out the manifold, etc.?

Where can I find some connectors? I'll ckeck Ebay but is there anywhere for new ones that fit?

Kind of hard to know what they mean, without seeing it. You might be able to just clean the connection... I can't imagine enough corrosion to eat through the wire unless somehow battery acid got on it or something. I would try cleaning it up with some electrical contact cleaner, available at places like Radio Shack, and see what happens.

I think the connectors are available separately on eBay and maybe NAPA, but I would suggest buying a new subharness from Joe (www.everythinginfiniti.com) and being done with it. Not sure if that can be accomplished on the J without removing the plenum or not...

Good luck!

Heath
