J30 Ignition timing

Can the ignition timing on J30 be adjusted? If so, how?

Any help would be much appreciated.

its just like on any other vehicle.... except you move the crank angle sensor instead of the distributor.

Right on, Elwesso. I had pinging from the engine right after the timing belt change by the dealer. After I turn the Crank angle sensor back a little bit the pinging was gone. The engine also idles better.
