In the middle of the TEMP gauge between C &H.

Maybe a good flush of the system and a new Thermostat as a starter. It takes 10-15 minutes of driving to get the TEMP off "C". The TEMP rise should happen fairly fast certainly not 10-15 minutes.
OBTW, is the Thermostat hidden or easy to find? So much of this engine compartment is "Find Me If You Can".
My '33 Ford engine compartment is much easier to navigate.
