I have a 93 j30. when you turn the headlights on only the brights come on. Nothing else no tail lights or dims, running lights. I thought it was the head light switch. So i replaced it and it is doing the same thing. so i put the old switch back in. went to the dealership and they replaced a fuse under the dash. it worked for a day and is now doing the same thing.

Im thinking that it might be the old headlight switch that is blowing the fuse. But i don't know.

Any Help on what it might be would be greatly appreciated.

I did search for this problem but couldn't find anything.

Try replacing the fuse once more. If it works, and then goes out again soon, you will have at least isolated the problem. Then you will need to get into the wiring system a bit to see what's causing those fuses to short out. Could be a poor ground wire somewhere in the system.

You must use OEM of Sylvania LL for all bulbs, and OEM specified bulbs for headlights.

Check your sockets for corrosion and/or overheating.
