It's an easy fix. You basically disconnect the wiring going to the existing DRL module(the bad one) and attach it into the new DRL module. I blew my DRL module about 6-7 years ago when I installed replacement bulbs of the wrong voltage. My symptom was that all four lights came on during the day and in the night when I switched on my headlights I got no lights.DurtyJ30 wrote:hmm.... i seem to be having a funny problem too. my dtrl's donnot turn on and my left headlight doesnt turn on low or high beam. they worked fine before... they were a little dim and use to flicker a bit now stopped working altogether. my parking lights turn on when i turn on my acc and low beam light. furthermore my dtrls on the headlights and tail lights donnot work at all. is this the dreaded headlight relay. i did some searches and it sounds menacing. how hard is it really to fix the relay? or is it altogether worth buying a new 1?
