j30 general question

Hi there, i have some questions about the M30. It's a very fun to drive and cool car, but i know there isn't much out there in the aftermarket world for this car. I read somewhere that you could swap the M30 motor and transmission with a 300zx motor and transmission? Is that possible, and has anyone done it or know how hard it will be. Basically i love the M30 but want a manual transmission. I THINK all the M30s come with automatics. Can anyone help me out.....thanks much.....it's a 1990 M30, by the way.

The M30 is kind of a hodge podge between the Z31 and the 240.... A lot of the 240 suspension components swap over, and you could probably swap in a VG30ET into the M30 without a real problem, youd just have to replumb it...
