j30 front hubs on s13?

can j30 front hubs or possibly the whole front spindle assembly be used on a s13?

It IS possible to put the J30 front hubs in replacement of the S13 front hubs. But there are 2 differences. The wheel bearings are different between the 2 cars and the S13 style wheel bearing (which you would have to use) needs a snap ring to hold it in. The j30 front hub does not have this snap ring groove, so to make it all work you would have to buy new S13 wheel bearings, and then have a snap ring groove machined into the J30 hub to make it all work. S13 wheel bearings cost on average $30-$50 a piece depending on where you buy them, and then you would have to get someone to do the machine work (that shouldn't cost much at all). I have some pictures of both hubs compared to each other on my home computer, the differences are actually very small and if you have the right connections then it might be worthwhile. yes you can , i just did that to my boys s13,

prss out the old bearing from the j30 hubs and go to napa auto parts and buy a fw123 bearing . it will prss in to the j30 hub . or swap the old bearing from the s13 . just heat up the hub just lil bit
