J30 for Parts - any interest?

****Edit: the J30 is now gone - sorry guys *****I cannot afford to keep my 1993 J30 alive and would like to sell it. Known problems are: Rust on body below doors and on frame; HICAS lines were leaking so they are bypassed; air conditioning; cracked windscreen; ball joints on both left and right front; interior worn (seats, carpet, etc); CD player is intermmitent; sun roof only opens partially; cruise control;

The engine and transmission are fine to my knowledge. Does anyone think that this car may be worth something? It is north of Toronto, Canada. I would consider offers...

Best thing is to part it out.

Ill take the shifter trim piece and the left turning signal housing. If they are both in good shape.

what color is the interior?

I may be interested in some door panels if they're the right color and are in better condition than mine.

Also the front grille since mine's lost most of it's gold trim on the emblem and the trim too.

I'm sure I'll go out to my car later and see a few more pieces I'm interested in. Right now it's dark out still and I'm pissed off about the parking situation at work. New building.. 700+ workers...less than 100 parking spaces on site. If the spaces are full they are making us park roughly 5 miles away at an old abandoned wal mart lot and ride a charter bus to work. Supposed to have a new lot but they keep coming up with excuses on why they cant complete it. I waited an hour for a space on site today and ppl got into a fight so they made everyone waiting leave. I said screw it I'm not waiting two more hours in the rain for the bus I'm taking a vacation day and will be venting my frustrations to everyone. lol

if you are splitting it for parts i would like some parts from it as well.

the two front turning indicators would be useful as well as the middle piece that goes accross the mounting area of the wipers.

I'm not sure if it will be worth my while parting it out myself - I don't have the space to work on it and store stuff. I'll think about it. But to answer the questions about the mentioned parts. Grey interior: driver side interior door panel is fairly worn but pax side and rear are not too bad. The front grill has a crack in it - not likely it will be worth it for you. Shifter trim looks pretty good and the wiper trim peice is intact but sun-bleached (faded). I'll provide more details to you if I decide to take it apart.

just curious what color is the thing on the outside? my hood has tons of little rock chips and i know the hood is AL so just curious what it would be to bolton your hood in replacement for mine...

I think they called it "smoke grey" but it is an "almost black" grey. As with the other posts, I'll provide more detail if I decide to part it.

hey Guy, What parts do you have left, I have a 1994 Infiniti J30. I'm really looking for a Blower Motor. I have some other things that I would like to get if you still have them, like door panels if there are good and the Driver's seat. If you have pictures of the parts or the whole car, let me see them or go ahead and post them so everyone can see what you have to offer.

I too have j-30 for parts and won't be selling the whole thing. The body unfortunately is trashed I was almost killed twice! Once by big rig, followed by near head on with barrier and finally some nice soft grass; turns out it wasn't soft! However, the engine and transmission are fine the interior is in decent shape, windshield is toast, air bag deployed. Other glass is good, sideview mirrors are good, grill is good, had a new headlight relay it is good. I guess I won't list every good part. E-mail me at [email protected]
