J30 Flywheel Inspection plate

I was working under my J30 yesterday and noticed towards the rear of the motor what appeared to be an exposed flywheel. Do these trannys have flywheel inspection plates that can be removed? Perhaps one of the previous owners maybe never re-installed it for some reason. Also does the HICAS light serve as an indicator for low power steering fluid?

Yes on the HICAS light coming on when the power steering fluid is low.

Thanks, I figured that was the case since I dont have Hicas anyways. My main concern now is the Flywheel cover, I didnt go under far enough to see how its mounted. The fact tat the flywheel is exposed to the front of the car concerns me, would hate for a rock to fly up and get in the way of my starter.

Ive been under my J a bazillion time's and haven't seen the flywheel unless I pulled the starter to Torque the crankshaft bolt.
I would definitely get that covered.

Haven't seen and exposed flywheel under my J also. Can you take a pic and post?

Ill Try to take a pic next time im under there. Where is the downloadable service manual for this car on this site? I thought I read somewhere it was available to download. Thanks
