J30 exhaust

does anyone have any knowledge or experience in deleting the resonator on the j30 exhaust? I was thinking about doing it myself but i want to know if i would work and what i needed.

Ive had it done by a proffesional.I took off after i did some borlas and cats.It was very droney.Dont know about the oem muff;s though.Some 15 inch glass pack's sealed the deal.Very nice!That's my 2 cents.Dont know if it help's you or not.Good luck on that.

Resonator removal is fairly simple, the only thing that might get in your way are rusted bolts. The car sounds great when the resonator is off. When I first took off mine, I did not extend the piping out the back of the car which ended up not being legal come emissions testing time here in AZ.
