j30 engine removal

how can i remove the engine and transmission from the car, is there a safe method for this procedure, i looked at the service manual but didnt give much detail, i'd appreciate it if anyone can help with the procedure

It's pretty traditional, yank the hood, radiator, intake, take off the AC and power steering systems, tie them up out of the way, disconnect exhaust, fuel lines, wiring, throttle, motor and transmission mounts, remove shifter and lift out.But I have to warn you: despite the amount of weight this removes, pickup really, really suffers.
