J30 ECU Vs 300zx ecu.. help please!

alright,, good question for someone here. i have a 300zx currently running on a j30 HO ecu, it runs, and well to an extent,, but it runs very rich. so obviously i know that the electronics in the ecu are completely different, i was wondering if there are any specific differences in engines that could be changed/modified to make it run better. like for example, are the j30 o2 sensors different that 300zx? if anyone has any ideas lemme know.thanks
