I found this video while I was online. I thought it would be interesting to post.

180 wheel horse power.. not bad. Sounds awsome though!

I think he had a custom CAI (filter behind the factory driver side turn signal), underdrive pullies, new plugs, & a universal muffler.

I'm taking my Civic to a dyno next week. I'm curious to see what my WHP is.

180 RWHP for the J is respectable, considering it's a boat. I think I'll aim for 200ish RWHP when I start to work on mine.

Ok, so I paid an early visit to a performance shop to get my car dynoed. I think everyone present was surprised @ the results.

Oh, since a stock J30 pushes around 175ish RWHP, will 200-210 to the wheels & 193 torque harm the transmission? I want to match the crank outputs to the wheels.

Oh, & could anyone with a stock J30(t) put it on a dyno & show the numbers?? I don't know of the RWHP of a stock J30 & I'd like to know the numbers so I'll have an idea on where to start.

you are best off doing custom work for your J30. ive wondered if 300zx exhaust would fit under there and then custom fab the 2-1 for the tip, but never got around to asking my friend to unbolt his exhaust and see.

Did you dyno the J while it was stock?
