Got the 1993 J30 back up and running. But it dumps so much fuel in the driver side bank that its dripping out the exhaust. It has a EGR delete kit and pop charger. injectors have new o rings and tested 11.3-11.4 across. Noid light on injector harness shows they are good still. Jumped the injectors and flow tested the pintles squirt out fine. I'm stumped. Broken fuel press regulator or MAF sensor? What should i check next?

Connect a pressure gauge to the rail, pressurize the system (determine pressure regulator works), and then clamp off the lines to isolate the rail/gauge. Ensure the rail holds pressure for at least 5 minutes. If not, it's probably a pinched o-ring seal. The exhaust is dual all the way?

Not a pinched o ring took it off and flow tested the rail by jumping the fuel pump. Will test the fuel pressure regulator.

Replaced coolant temp sensor and fuel press regulator. Still leaks. With fuel injectors unplugged it still leaks with the car running. I am stumped. With the fuel rail off the engine and connected to the system and jumped the fuel pump it didnt leak. Back in the intake manifold it leaks. New fuel rail is the right part. Yes. Dual exhuast its a VG30DE 300zx NA motor.

Perhaps something happened while you were installing the rail? Broken cap maybe. How do you know fuel's leaking with the injectors unplugged (with car running)?!

fuel is still pouring out the exhaust manifold on the right driver bank. unbolted it to see which side of the engine was the fuel coming from. fuel was leaking out the back of the exhaust.

I redid all the lower o ring seals on the injectors, old ones didnt seal due to the broken pintle caps on the injector.

Ahh... that would do it! Are the pintile tips replacable without replacing the whole injector? I know some are on the later Q injectors, but I'm not sure on the earlier designs. If so, you definately want to replace them so that they'll mist the fuel properly. You may still need to replace the injectors, even if they aren't available. I've heard of strange driveability issues due to cracked tips. You might call Joe at 1-888-216-5328 to see what's available.
