So i was looking at the plenum and its designed like the 300zx intake. If i relocated the battery to the trunk could use some sort of dual intake setup? I know i'd need a second MAF to make it work but will the J30 ECU even read the secondary data or would i need a different ecu as well like from a 300zx Auto trans? I tried a search but didn't find anything, has anyone tried this?

ok so i read through the 300zx forums, and i didn't realize the stock setup on the 300's was a single maf also. Turns out though you can run Dual MAF's on a stock ecu with the aid of a S-AFCII.

i know there was a write-up on it. this set-up does not need the skyline ecu.

not sure what the advantage to running dual MAF? The N62 MAF definitely is not causing a lot of restriction to the N/A VG30DE...

if you wanted to run a dual intake setup wouldn't it be safest to monitor the airflow on each throttle body and cylinder bank to ensure that one side doesn't run leaner or richer than the other? I know the 350's use twin mafs
