On my driver side door, im guessing because of hanging my arm out of the window, the "leather" has worn away, And the brown/cardboardy..I dont know what it is, next level is exposed..Has anyone ran into this with their carHas anyone found a quick fix for it?

thanks in advance..

Yes, every J30 owner has ran into this problem.

Take it to an upholstry shop if it bothers you so much.

Should not cost more that $100-150 per door.

noahdarrow: Yea, same issue. Even if it is expensive to fix, I guess it's nice to know that it is a very common problem on J30's (and that I'm not the only one who has run into it).

SO yea, you're not alone in facing this problem. Cheap ****ing upholstery.

Yep! Same problem here. The leather on that panel is way too soft for an area that will undoubtedly receive a lot of friction. I thought about repairing it, but haven't gotten around to it. I need to get my rear bumper painted first and get a couple other things checked out.

I've got it on both sides too. Replacement door panels will run you upwards of $1100. But like Dominick said an upholstery shop should repair it for 100-150.
