Am I going to notice a huge difference if I install a J30 diff? I know the gearing is different, but will it be very noticeable?

Anyone have one on their car??? Thanks.

Yes the final drive ratio IS different than the 240SX and you DO notice a drop in acceleration.

Dangit, wil it accelerate a lot slower or just slightly? My car's alrady slow. Eventually I plan to either do a KA-T or get a CA, so then it prob won't matter...

It's not like it feels like it bogs or anything, but there is a slightly noticeable difference in acceleration. Just do the swap and don't worry about it if you're going with some power upgrades in the near future. I had mine on as a daily driver for a year and forgot about it.

Stock ratio is 4.083 vs 3.916 for the J30.

I havent installed my J30 diff yet, but I dont expect a drastic drop in acceleration. I think you can put up with it until you go turbo.
