J30 defroster vents

The defroster vents on my 1995 J30 are popping out of the dash. I see that this is a common problem. How can I fix this?

Ive just lived with it.Seems like its us guys in the south that have heat enough to slightly warp the dash in the 100+ heat.

lol Changing egr tubes made the vents pop out .

Women , ya gotta love em' .. ITS THE LAW !!! lol

Nice idea Willie. I'll give it a try before the next cold snap comes through Sunday.

I'd be interested in any ideas on how to fix this too as mine popped out this summer. I've played with it a few times without any luck.

I had a similar problem with my last car. I ended up taking out the dash and doing some creative gluing and clamping to get it back to the way it used to be. I'm not very interested in doing that again with the J.
