My wife's J30 has a dead (open circuit) #1 injector. One of the phillips screws is blocked by the manifold, so the entire manifold must be removed to gain access. This is something I don't really want to do, so what would an average cost be for a dealer to do this?

Thanks.

If you want to do it yourself, you can do it without removing the manifold. (I highly recommend NOT removing the manifold yourself.) Visit the fuzzycats.com site for a how-to.

Welcome to NICO!!!

Because of the labor involved with removing the manifold and plenum (its a major PITA project), a dealer will charge you around $1000 to do 1 injector and most of that is removal and put back together labor charges. If your planning on keeping the car for awhile, I would think about doing all the injectors at once (replacement injectors are reasonably priced) since you are already paying for the labor.

If you want to buy OEM Infiniti injectors at a cheaper price than your local Infiniti dealer, check out everythinginfiniti.com. Let them know you're a NICO member.
