Roads were slick last weekend and my daughter spun the 94 J30 out. Hit a curb with the drivers rear. Took apart today and looks like only the lower arm and rear lateral link are bent. Question is - any one parting out a J 30 rear diff. assy. If not, any reasonable places to get used or new parts for this auto??? Local dealer would be last resort$$$

The problem maybe that the suspension arm mounting tabs on the subframe get bent from impacts, the hub, wheel and bearings will be damaged if the impact was sufficient to bend a rear arm.The impact may also afffect the bearing in the diff where the half shaft inserts.

We buy whole rear subframes with diff, suspensions out to the brakes and hubs for around $850-$1000 delivered from junkyards. Then you have everything or just buy each bent arm from dealer $150 each or so..........then alignment/driving will tell you what's next.

The bare subframe new is $600. Order the arms from Scottsdale and save 30%

I don't remember what the story with this guy is, but he was parting out his J30 at one time. Email him and see if he still is or not.[email protected]
