Does anyone here know if the J30 is pre-wired to accept this CD Changer? The auction description seems to imply that only the Q45 is prewired for it.

I seem to remember seeing a unused DIN-type plug by the rear speakers. I always assumed that was for the CD changer.

I'd like to get one of these but only if it's plug-and-play. I don't really want to be messing with running wires, etc. In any case, my head unit has the CD Changer button on it so I always figured all the wiring was in place.

Here's the ebay link:

I don't know about that one specifically, but I ordered my changer off ebay and it was installed without any problems. Mine was like $90 and the most you should pay on there is like $130, but then again those made no mention of Clarion.

Seginc, what about the wiring? That's really what I'm wondering about.

Were you able to just plug the thing to EXISTING wiring in the trunk?

Carlos, if you don't ahve the wiring. There is an auction on eBay, for the wiring harness (new in the box). Do a search for Q45, and look in the audio/electronics section.

Actually, I didn't install it myself, but the place that I went to is stingy as hell. If they needed any extra parts for anything they would have charge me. So I am pretty sure it is pretty much plug and play out the box wit a stock bose head.
