The thread was missing yesterday...must have been a victim of the hack/backup process. As a J30 owner, I'm thankful for all your help! (And I'm so glad to have a working Bose unit again!)

Yes, I sent it to Factory Car Stereo Repair in Florida. (Carstereohelp.com) Piece of cake (once I got the stereo out of the car!)
