J30 Bose speaker repair???

I have a '93 J30 w/ BOSE and the amps, & hu are ok- but the foam edges around the speakers are blown. i want to replace just the speakers if possible. Nothing compares to the factory system in perfect working order- replacing the bose system isn't an option!! If anyone has any suggestions PLZ let me know- it's greatly appreciated. Has anyone tried the speaker repair kits? anyone know if they are any good?

Sorry, I think I misunderstood.

Not heard of anyone having any luck repairing, you may have better luck finding "take-outs" from any Nissan/Infiniti that uses the 6x9's in the rears. The amp and speaker should be interchangeable.

Bro, http://www.partsexpress.com for the bose speaker repair kit.. You'll spend about $35 and that will cover all supplies and material.. This kit is good for 8 - 9 speakers.. Can't go wrong for the price + plus you'll have for future.

just boxed up my 4 bose speakers with amps cause i got new ****. if anyone wants the old Bose email me an offer..all offers considered money or things....lol oh yeah. the speakers are in perfect shape still have price tag on them,

Nah, none missing, but I gotta figure the 10+ year old speakers are gonna start to give up at some point. I take it from you description yours are somewhat new??

not really dude but they dont sound any different from new ones i know that. they are really good speakers i just wanted to change everything out.

You can buy re-edge kits (replacement surrounds) for all types of speakers.

The foam around the speakers is referred to as "surrounds." They are not to hard to replace and when you are done the speakers sound as good as new!

Ask them for the eBay price and you might get them a little bit cheaper. They sell quite a bit on eBay.

dude you can have these speakers if you really need some. im not trying to make money espically if you dont have any tunes in your ride i couldnt handle that
