j30 axles and 180sx vlsd

i just scored a 180sx vlsd and a set of 94 j30 axles are on order i need to know if this is going to work in my 89 240. i would like to know if there is any issues with this setup if it works, taking it on a long trip.

This is a question that would probably be best suited for the 240sx general section. I will leave this here for a little bit before I move it though.
