J30 alarm sounds when unlocked door opened

When I open the drivers door on my 1993 J30 the alarm goes off, sometimes. This happens when it is unlocked. Would someone please direct me to information on this problem. Also, I would appreciate instructions on how to fix and where to buy parts. Thanks for the help, Mike Miller

I believe this is related to the door latch. Do a search for more info.

Great info, thanks. I'm having the same problems (doors lock themselves and alarm goes off when the doors are unlocked). Any pictures of these items?
