I spent 2 1/2 hours yesterday trying to put my small system in my car. I'm no stranger to this kind of stuff. Looked for a hole for the hot wire to go throw the firewall could not find one. Had to run the damn thing throw the door jam, and no I'm not happy about that. Got all the wires to the back seat and...... the back seat dose not go down at all! I said now problem I'll just run it between the back seat and the door jam, NOPE! OK, not only does the seats not fold down there seems to be a thin sheet of metal between the back seat and the trunk. Me and a friend found the only way we could see to do this was a hole in the trunk, that had wires already going throw. We cut a small hole in the rubber and put the wires throw there. Am I the only one who had trouble doing this, hopefully I'm not alone on this.

Ok, do it right or don't do it at all. That's my opinion. Wire thru door jam? GHETTO!!!

Just drill a hole thru the passenger side floor board just under the upper edge of the carpet. Don't forget to use some kind of gromet so your car doesn't burn to the ground.

The rear seat bottoms come out with 2 bolts and then there are 2 bolts on the bottom of the rear seat back. Then the rear seat back just lifts off. Then you can take that metal panel off so your sub sounds better and you can easily run your wire thru it.

My whole stereo install, these are the only wires visable:

Thanks man, that's the first system I've had to do like that. Can you tell me where the bolts are located? Thanks for your help.

The 2 for the rear seat bottom are across the front edge then the seat bottom just slides out towards the front. Once you have the seat bottom out, you can see the bolts for the seat top.
