j30 air conditioner doesn't work

I am just going to buy a used 94' infinity j30, it looks old but I still like it. 180km.

But I found 2 major problem,

1) the air conditioner seems doesn't work

2) the oil paint on the back seems split up. inside the back storage room, the board which is right behind the back seat is only the fabric which looks the same to others, I can even see the machine through the edge of the fabric. I wonder whether there should be a board behind the fabric.

So does anybody know,

1) how much cost to repair the whole air conditioner of the j30?

2) because the j30 is back-wheel-drived, if there is a shock from the back of j30 which is not too serious, will it be harmful to the whole car?

I can answer the first question..........A/C repairs are always expensive due to the equipment cost.
